As we grow up challenges also pile up. We come across roughest patches, well not all of us but most of us. We encounter a lot of different life events but at the end the results are fruitful or maybe not. Some of the life events we experience lead us to destinations we never imagined ourselves in. I don't believe that those people who are in jails, those who live in the streets and all those who do all the dirty businesses and do not live by the law woke up one morning and decided that the life they're living now is the kind of life they wanted to live and dreamt of.
Life circumstances lead to such life. They have given up on life and their dreams. They have lost their self-value and they have already convinced themselves that they were born to live like that. I believe everyone and I mean everyone is born for a purpose. You may not see it now but chances are someday, can be any day (tomorrow, next year or even in twenty years to come) you will see and find your purpose. We are all unique in our own way and should therefore not be in competition with anyone. The reason you think you're a failure and worthless is because you're comparing yourself to people who have already made it in life. Until you admire yourself, your efforts and accept your flows and stop comparing yourself to others believe me you shall prosper. Wait for your time, I believe in God's perfect timing.
You're worth great things and darling great things take time. They have to come in good shape, they're fragile and they need to be handed or given to that special unique individual. Now a lot of us here know the struggles we go through in order for us to bring our dreams to life. From the years we spent in school and in university to the job hunting phase, it's not easy believe me. It breaks my heart that we spend so much years in school and still stay at home for another couple of years with our not-so-handy degrees. I call them the not-so-handy degrees because they don't come in handy at all, we still struggle even with them. Unemployment is the big issue but that is the topic for another day.
